Psoriasis Foot Nightmare Resolved With Wheatgrass Juice
This was sent to us on November 16, 2007 and posted with the authorization of the writer.
Quote:
My psoriasis nightmare began in 1999.
It started to appear on both of my feet in the form of dry, hard skin with such deep cracks that some days I could hardly walk.
I was referred to a dermatologist who recommended a cream treatment called Tazorac.
When this didn’t give me enough relief I was sent to Woman’s College Hospital for the ultra violet treatment. It was after this treatment that my real nightmares started.
It turned out that I was over radiated by a few seconds!!!! The very next morning my feet looked like I had walked through hot coals and the pain was so excrutiating that whenever I attempted to stand up I actually passed out. I had home nursing care for 3 months.
After this my feet looked like those of a burn victim. I would go through periods of time when I was ok (not by normal standards) and by that I do not ever mean healed.
Then the flare ups would happen and I would have to resort back to Tazorac but even that stopped working after a while. My family doctor referred me to another specialist in 2006 but nothing helped.
This was a pattern of life for me for 7 years, from 1999-2007.
Then I was introduced to wheat grass in March 2007.
I faithfully took 8 cubes a day and within 2 weeks I started to see and feel a change in my feet. The skin became softer, the deep cracks that I had endured the previous winter were closing and my toe nails were more pliable. I could actually walk without pain and my socks weren’t catching on hard skin.
By July 2007 my feet lost their red burned appearance, there were no cracks between my toes and I could finally file my heals without any pain.
To date, November 2007, I am still taking 8 cubes a day and plan to do this for the rest of my life. My family doctor, Dr Fred Moody,Toronto can attest to the amazing transformation of my feet and asked for information on wheatgrass to pass along to some of his other patients with severe psoriasis.
I am pleased to pass along this personal experience and hope that others with similar conditions who are looking for alternative ways to treat themselves will be helped.
Sincerely,
Joseph Philip
